better TV

For someone who has little knowledge about the latest trend in televisions, you should be able to weigh the benefits of the kind of television you want to have before doing so. The more common of the two are the plasma and the LCD televisions. Oftentimes debate between whether what better TV is always rises. If you want a smaller size LCD television has a 19 inch TV, it is therefore light and it consumes lesser energy. It uses more natural light that is why it puts lesser strain to out eyes. It is advisable to use for people who uses it longer like for those who plays video games with it. For plasma TV it has bigger sizes in which it becomes heavier. Another advantage of it is that it has more life like color and has a nicer view from an angle compared the LCD. Each has its own unique feature that corresponds with the users need.

techy side of me

I am lucky enough that one by one my wishes are coming true. When I was still a student I dreamed of being able to buy the different stuffs with my hard earned money. Of course when you are a student you cannot afford these gadgets since mostly they are expensive. Now that I am working I have already bought a couple of things to satisfy the techy side of me. For my first salary I bought a digital camera. It is quite useful for me since I go out a lot and I wanted to capture and keep the special moments. The next one that I bought was my Iphone 3G. This phone is really fascinating. It has many functions like surfing the net, storing files, playing games when I am bored and I get download free ring tones. For my next purchase I would like to have a laptop preferably a Macbook Pro. For this one I have to work hard and save a lot first since this cost much yet I still hope that I can be able to buy it in the near future.

Getting up close and personal with the latest handsets

Posted under phones by admin on Monday 2 March 2009 at 10:51 pm

The world mobile congress showed us just what’s in store for us over 2009 with some truly irresistible handsets looking set to be released over the next 2 quarters. Mind you the top end phones will be on expensive tariffs, so make sure that you shop around for the best mobile phone deals. So what do we have in store for 2009? The handsets that stood out for me were the Sony Ericsson W995, a walkman phone that comes with an 8MP camera. Now that is what I’m talking about!!! The other phone is the Samsung Omnia HD. Both of these handsets are building what has gone before them and we think that come November, they will be topping all our most wanted lists. Manufacturers seem hell bent on pushing the boundaries of what is possible, despite the downturn in the economy at the moment. Surely it is a good thing for us as consumers?

Free gifts with your mobile deals, are they worth it?

Posted under phones by admin on Monday 2 March 2009 at 10:50 pm

Whether you are after a new mobile broadband contract or a new mobile phone deal, you can be offered a wide range of free gifts and cash to encourage you to sign on the dotted line. But are these deals all they are cracked up to be? Or are there some hidden charges that make these deals less glamorous in the future? To understand the value of mobile phones with free gifts, you need to look at what you are getting. With most companies you will receive your free gift after 1 month of using your mobile phone and having paid your first bill. This is to prevent fraud and is a reasonable step to take by the operators to ensure that you are committed to your mobile phone contract. The upside is that you will receive a great free gift like an lcd TV or Nintendo Wii, simply for signing up for a mobile phone contract that you would have done anyway. It is a great way to get a little bit extra in return for paying your monthly mobile phone bill.

How do you know when a mobile phone contract is good value for money?

Posted under phones by admin on Monday 2 March 2009 at 10:47 pm

Finding good value mobile phone contracts is no easy task, there are plenty of different offers out there, ranging from the extremely expensive, to the very cheap. A phone like the Nokia N86 will be a rather more expensive phone than the Nokia 6600 slide for example and so it is therefore crucial that you decide exactly what it is you are looking for from your next mobile phone deal. A couple of tips to help you along the way are as follows
1) Decide what kind of plan suits you best. Do you use your mobile phone a lot? If you do then a contract is more likely to be the better option
2) Compare the market. Moby1 compares mobile phone deals from a wide range of retailers to bring you pretty good prices.
3) Choose a handset that is right for you. If you aren’t going to use all the bells and whistles on a phone, then don’t bother getting an expensive phone. You will only end up paying for it in the long run.
If you follow these simple rules, then you should be able to save a decent amount of cash on your next mobile phone deal.
