GPS
Global Positioning Systems or GPS have become a must now in the automotive industry. Originally only a select few cars had these systems built into their dash boards. Those of course were the luxury vehicles retailed in the US. The GPS devices now sold in stores are handheld and give you the option of use while driving or walking. However these devices do have their limitations. Maps for these technical toys are currently only provided for the most part of northern America. Thus, international use is not yet reliable. The industry though is currently highly promising due to the quick advances in map production companies like Google maps. In a few years, finding your way from continent to continent will be as easy as touching a screen.
